What is LINE ROOKIE?
LINE ROOKIE is an annual internship program designed for you to learn and grow at LINE Thailand, one of Thailand’s leading companies in the tech and digital industries.

Here you will gain precious and fun work experience provided by our employees or “LINERs” through everyday work assignment and one-on-one mentorship. Diverse online and in-person training and consultation sessions will also be provided to help kickstart your career.

As a LINE ROOKIE, you will not get to do just mundane, routine tasks. Instead, through individual and group work assignments, you will get to tackle real challenges and create innovative solutions like a real LINER would.

Throughout the 10-week program, you will be joining us in a mission to create an amazing life platform that brings “WOW!” to our users, from individual consumers to business clients. Can I apply for multiple positions?
You can apply for only one position for LINE ROOKIE 2025.

To be eligible for LINE ROOKIE 2025, you need to be a university student currently on your 3rd year or higher at the time of application (January 2025).
Final-year students can also apply as long as they have not graduated yet.

What documents are required for applying to this program?
A resume or CV is required for all positions.
For some positions, a portfolio will be required as well. You can check the job description to see if the position that you are interested in requires a portfolio.

I am not sure about the differences between some positions. How do I know which position is the right one for me?
In order to determine which position is the right one for you, we recommend you to consider, in each position, (1) whether the job responsibilities are what you would like to try and (2) whether the product or service is the one you are interested in or would like to learn more about.

You can only submit the application form once, so please ensure that everything you have filled in is correct before submitting. Nevertheless, if you need to revise your application, please contact us via email (dl_linerookie@linecorp.com).
Interview & Assessment Stage
What is the interview process, format and language?
The interview process for LINE ROOKIE 2025 will consist of 2 rounds. The 1st round will be with the hiring team and will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025. If you pass the 1st round, you will then be invited to the 2nd round with HR, which will take place during the period of February 19-28, 2025.
Both interview rounds will be arranged as face-to-face interview at LINE Thailand Office. If you are unable to visit LINE Thailand Office for any interview round (for example, if you do not live in Bangkok or the surrounding provinces), please let us know your situation in the application form. We will then consider an alternative arrangement on a case-by-case basis.
The interview language will be either Thai or English depending on the requirements of each positions. We will inform you about the language when you are invited for the interview.

We will announce if you are invited for the 1st interview with the hiring team on Friday, February 7, 2025.
If you pass the 1st round, we will contact you to invite you to the 2nd interview with HR within February 28, 2025. If you are not selected to proceed to the 2nd interview, you will also receive the result within February 28, 2025.
After the 2nd interview, we will communicate the selection results to you via phone and email within March 7, 2025.
All communications will be made via phone or email.

How is this program different from LINE Thailand Cooperative Program?
LINE ROOKIE is designed as a 10-week summer internship program, where all LINE ROOKIEs will join and leave the program on the same date. This means that, as a LINE ROOKIE, you will be provided with a cohort experience, which include group training and activities among others.
On the other hand, LINE Thailand Cooperative Program is designed to be a program with a longer duration and higher flexibility, where you can choose your own start date, internship duration, and working days in each week. If you are looking for this type of program, or if the program period of LINE ROOKIE 2025 does not suit you, we encourage you to stay tuned for the next Cooperative Program intake period via our LINE CAREER TH Official Account.

What are the working hours?
LINE Thailand’s working hours are 9:00-18:00, Monday to Friday.
I might be absent on some days of the internship program due to classes or exams. Can I still join the program?
We can consider your situation on a case-by-case basis. If you are expected to be absent on only a few days, you should still be able to join the program. However, we still encourage you to join our full program so that you will not miss out on all the exciting activities.
Do I need to go to the office every day? Can I work remotely (e.g., from overseas)?
LINE Thailand is a hybrid workplace, so you do not have to work at the office every day. Instead, you can choose to work from anywhere as long as it suits your work circumstances.
Given this fact, you may be asked to come to the office on some working days, and most training and fun activities will be organized onsite at the office. Therefore, it is mandatory that you work in Bangkok or a surrounding province throughout the entire period of the program.
